School Administrator
CPRS consists of elementary (PreK-5), middle school (6-8), and high school (9-12) levels. We offer an education that will prepare our students for college, vocational studies, or other pursuits following graduation. Students at CPRS have the opportunity to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities in athletics, fine arts, student government, robots team, and our service club.
The entire faculty, staff, and school board are dedicated to serving the Lord through the ministry of teaching young people. Our faculty is well-qualified, both spiritually and academically. Each member has been carefully selected and prayerfully chosen by the School Administrator.
In the Scriptures, we read that children are a heritage of the Lord. Parents are responsible to God for the education of His children. CPRS works together with families to provide an environment in which our students can grow in their relationship with God.

The Vision
In 1833 the prophet Joseph Smith, Jr., was given a revelation concerning the school that had been established in Jackson County, Missouri. The early Latter Day Saints were interested in education from the beginning of the Restoration. They knew that without education their children could not study the scriptures. They established the first school in Jackson
County, Missouri. The early Latter Day Saints were not permitted to remain in Missouri, and the desire to teach children in a school with an emphasis on Restoration ideals and principles remained unfulfilled until the end of the twentieth century. Center Place Restoration School was purchased in 1991 as a result of the prayers and sacrificial efforts of the saints.
The Present
CPRS is committed to offering an afforable private school education. We maintain limits on class sizes to create a close student-teacher ratio and to foster a more personalized educational experience.
Teachers use the Bible, the Book of Mormon, and the Doctrine and Covenants in religion classes and chapels, which are held daily for middle school and high school, and twice weekly for elementary.
Looking Ahead
CPRS continues to develop our program to meet the changing needs of our students. Since its inception, the school’s mission has been consistent with the vision of Zion. CPRS is a church-wide, cooperative project where the principles of the gospel have practical application in daily living. Students and faculty from various branches of the Restoration work together as an educational community guided by the message of the cross, the ministry of reconciliation, and the hope of participating in the Kingdom of Zion. The friendships that develop among students at CPRS are often life-long and fortified with a love for God and his purposes. In the parent community, connections are often made that build bridges between branches and engender productive working-relationships within the church at large. Our hope is that CPRS continues to develop as a kingdom-building enterprise that plays a significant role in the establishment of Zion.
