Fine arts are emphasized at CPRS, with music classes beginning in kindergarten and continuing through middle school choir, and high school concert and chamber choirs.  Our high school choirs participate annually in various competitions.

Two stage productions are produced each year -- a fall musical and a spring drama.  Students participate not only onstage but also serve on the technical and stage crews.

Student government offers an opportunity for young people to learn about democracy and develop leadership skills that will serve them in the future.

Working with faculty sponsors, the students plan projects and activities for the current school year.

Our multi-season athletic program gives students opportunity to try out for different sports throughout the year.

Games are scheduled prior to the beginning of each season, and parent meetings are held to review the responsibilites and requirements for athletes.  Various levels of play (junior high, junior varsity, and varsity) are included for most sports.

EXTRACURRICULAR  ACTIVITIES

Students at CPRS are offered extracurricular activities that appeal to a variety of interests.  These include fine arts, athleticsstudent government, robot team, and service. To be eligible for participation, students must display good conduct both in the classroom setting and in the extracurricular program, and maintain a satisfactory grade point average.

Zion's Ambassadors for Christ service club is a great outlet for those who enjoy bringing ministry and sharing their energy and time in service.

ZAC members  meet weekly to discuss and plan events that will show the love of Christ to others.  They are involved in neighborhood, community, and church projects, and missionary trips during the school year.
